Seattle Post-Intelligencer: AP - Army, Navy to Alert 27,000 Reservists

The timing on this suggest a go decision for late January/early February has been made. I had mentioned previously that a reserve call up before Christmas meant a decision had been made that war was likely and it could be before the end of January.
