Is it too soon for 9/11 movies? Two major movies, including one by Oliver Stone, open later this year. A movie theater in New York City has pulled the trailer for the first to open United 93. Both links have videos including the pulled trailer.
Increasing doubts are being expressed about some elements of the flight 93 story. America needed heroes then and the passengers of 93 fit the bill. This is a problem with the rush to TV and rush to film stories and even the news.
i had blogged about these films prior to the newsweek story but what amazed me was how successful the a&e film was...
