Seeing The Forest is blogging about Venezuala with a lot of good links. Like me he is sick of our history in Latin America and he wonders why Republicans are bringing it all back.

Why do Republicans seem to do the bidding of some military-industrial-intelligence cartel. Is there really an extremely rich capitalist secret cabal, the illuminati, that controls them more obviously than Democrats? Maybe I should back off my paranoia a bit and seek alternate explanations... Or is that what they want me to do, should I simply become a crank?
