Bush, GOP Can Block All Investigations

USAToday -- The GOP has the White House and both Houses of Congress, the law that provided for special counsels has expired, the administion has beaten back the GAO through GOP judges on the courts. This leaves no way to call the GOP and the administration on anything.

Normally a free press would provide some check but mostly they have become lap dogs grateful to only repeat official stories they are told.
