Act to make a better Patriot Act, not a worse one

The American Civil Liberties Union has a means.

To members of Congress: I urge you to oppose plans to make the Patriot Act permanent, and to support the SAFE Act and its common sense fixes to the law. I join more than 400 communities, including seven states, that have passed resolutions calling on Congress to bring the Patriot Act in line with the Constitution by including appropriate checks and balances to prevent abuse.
