ACLU Asking Florida to Pull Christian AIDS brochure

Palm Beach Post - For more than two years, the state Department of Health has been distributing pamphlets urging Christians to show people with AIDS that Jesus loves them.

The booklet says how HIV/AIDS is contracted and spread, but there is no mention how to avoid it, including abstinence and the use of condoms.

Thursday, the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida accused the state health department of violating the constitutional separation of church and state by buying and distributing an HIV/AIDS brochure containing biblical messages.
