Ten Americans were killed in four bomb attacks on Western targets in Saudi Arabia last night.
UK Mirror -- A number of other people also died and up to 40 were injured in the blasts, which hit British and US residential areas and an office block in the capital Riyadh. No Britons were reported dead.
Speaking from Saudi Arabia, US Secretary of State Colin Powell said: "Terrorism strikes everywhere and everyone. It is a threat to the civilised world."
Briton John Bradley said: "There were bodies everywhere, blood everywhere." Gunfire was heard before one of the explosions - all of which appeared to be co-ordinated - and battles between compound guards and heavily armed attackers followed.
John added: "It is a secure place and they fought their way in with Kalashnikovs."
One blast was thought to be a suicide bomb attack. In another, a Chevrolet packed with explosives crashed through the gates of a compound.
Suspicion last night fell on al-Qaeda who warned last week that revenge attacks on US targets were imminent.
