Wow, this was interesting. One of the big funded conservative think tanks had a representative on a news channel saying Bush had not made the case to attack Iraq and did not think there was a case to be made.
Total disarray in the Republican ranks. Except, he also thought they would attack anyway and people should be thinking about the post-Hussein regime. A caveat - This was the CATO Institute which is on the libertarian side of the Republican factions and so might be disinclined to favor war.
I saw this on CBC NewsWorld International, the Canadian equivalent of CNN. Thanks to digital cable I am getting a much broader and better news perspective.
CBS News is saying that Rumsfield ordered plans to be drawn up to attack Iraq 9/11, "Things related or not."
Militarily Iraq is being smart, moving the army divisions to cities and fortifying. Fighting will be a lot harder than Iraq War 1.
