I have been offered a correction

The LA Times had a story I linked to of supposedly liberal clerks for Alito commenting very favorably on him. The LA Times has done this before. In the earlier case of Judge Owens, one of the worst excuses for a judge Texas has ever had, they had quotes from supposedly moderate to liberal Texans that she wasn't that conservative. In that case here in Texas it was easy to see that was obviously a lie and those moderate-liberal credentials of her supporters didn't hold up.

Liberal Oasis points out this is a well-planned, well-organized, (and may I add well-funded) Alito spin job by the GOP. "The spin team is all about duping liberals and moderates into thinking Alito is an “open-minded” conservative who will respect precedent... So, nothing has changed with this nomination. Right-wing nominees still lie to mask their ideology... We all must realize that White House aided “testimonials” from Alito’s allegedly liberal colleagues are not to be trusted either... We are having a battle with dishonest people."

I should have done more digging on the story as I realized how much the conservatives are geared up for this fight.
