Is Kerry the most electable Democrat?
Saletan looks at the issue.
el - I haven't really changed my mind since last summer - no. He can be easily painted as a Masschusetts liberal. I am a little more favorable lately due to his smart media team limiting him to macho soundbytes, his appeal to veterans, his appeal to Catholics. Having a national poll that puts him ahead of Bush helps. I think a more moderate candidate like Edwards or Dean would be better but Dean has imploded since late November and Edwards may not have quite enough backing.
