Democrats Win For Now - GOP Walking Away From Social Security

Social Security was Bush's Health Care.

Like Clinton's health care initiative it is an issue where something needed to be done but critics overwhelming rejected the approach the administration wanted. So it gets pushed back to another president unless the GOP shocks everyone and picks up more congressional and Senate seats.
