The New Permanent State of War and the Importance of the Peace Movement

Eric Alterman -- So far, with a few significant exceptions — like that lunatic at Columbia University — [the peace movement] has done a remarkably good job at staying focused on the key issues:

Support the troops
No sympathy for Saddam
Dissent is patriotic
Bush’s vision for the nation is one of never-ending catastrophe.

I can't add anything to what he writes and blogs.
