The Real Democratic Race Now - For the Money

Yahoo News - AP --

Kerry $10.0 (Earlier - $4.0+ million, he and his wife are also worth over $500 million)
Edwards $7.4 Million
Gepherdt $4.0+
Dean $1.5+ (likely over $2.)

The candidates' first campaign finance reports are due at the Federal Election Commission on April 15.

Update - The Washington Post has an article with Kerry at $10.0 million.

The only other serious candidates would be the moderate-to-conservatives General Clark and Florida Senator Graham. Clark could be angling for cabinet or vice presidential spot while Graham has a late start and no buzz. There are a number of left candidates who have no chance.

Kucinich has great oratory skills and appeals to the liberal grass roots. He and Sharpton make Dean seem more electable by presenting more left views. To win a two person presidential election the candidate must be near the middle of American views.
