UK Defends Syria and Iran Against US Threats

Guardian -- Britain distanced itself from US sabre rattling yesterday, insisting it would have "nothing to do" with threats from Washington against Iran and Syria and announcing a relaxation of export controls on dual-use civilian and military equipment for Iran.

The U.K. is trying to draw back from the close cooperation it has had with the U.S. after seeing the damage to foreign and trade relations that may develop.
