Lieberman Leads In Ohio
The latest Ohio Poll (pdf) finds Senator Joe Lieberman (18%) continues to lead the field of Democratic primary
hopefuls, followed by Missouri Congressman Dick Gephardt (14%) and Ohio Congressman Dennis
Kucinich (12%). Other candidates received the support of fewer than ten percent of Democratic and
Independent registered voters, including former Vermont Governor Howard Dean (9%), Massachusetts
Senator John Kerry (9%), Reverend Al Sharpton (6%), Retired General Wesley Clark (6%), former Illinois
Senator Carol Moseley Braun (4%) and North Carolina Senator John Edwards (1%).
Ohio is a Super-Tuesday state. The Mid-West states like Ohio will be the key to the 2004 Presidential race.
