Former TV News Anchor Sues Porn Industry
Catherine Bosley resigned from WKBN-TV after naked pictures of her taken at a bar in Florida appeared on the internet.
Bosley says she thought the hype would have died down by now, however her images continue to appear on different websites, and another site is now promoting a new video touting Bosley as "the naked anchor".
She has hired local attorney Mark Colucci to take her case to federal court, saying the sites need to stop using her image and name without her written permission.
Catherine Bosley resigned under pressure as anchor at WKBN-TV after naked pictures taken during a wet T-shirt contest at a bar appeared on the internet, reports WYTV.
Ms. Bosley is a double victim here. First, she has a right to require webmasters to obtain her permission before publishing her picture. That's what model releases are all about. Their requirement is well-established in the industry and a necessary protection for people's privacy. Webmasters who don't respect privacy should be held legally accountable.
Second, there is no reason being photographed naked in the contest should disqualify her for the news job (Not Safe For Work), any more than wearing a bikini in a beauty contest would have. It sounds like her employer wronged her, too.

Speaking of news readers - heres the big list of RSS News Readers. I use AmphetaDesk but have had an occasional problem of it running days behind updating some sites.
