Little bits of Gore

In a perfect world Al Gore is president and we have flying cars that run on vegetable oil - Family Guy.

Will Gore not run because he is having too much fun giving a big "I told you so" to the DC establishment? E.J. Dionne: "Boy, it would be fun if Al Gore changed his mind and ran for president—fun for the voters, anyway. Imagine a candidate whose pre-election book is devoted in large part to an attack on the media for waging war on reason."

LA Times: Al Gore, uncensored, in 'The Assault on Reason'
As he explains in his new book, the American political system has degenerated into a rigged game that suppresses honesty and rewards deception.

To anyone paying attention over the last few decades, the underlying causes that Gore identifies will be familiar, including the ascendancy of mindless television, the domination of corporate money, the concentration of ownership in influential media and the decline of engaged citizenship.
AP - Some in Silicon Valley still dream of Al Gore 2.0 for president
Since losing the 2000 election, Gore has become an environmental crusader and technology insider. He is on Apple's board of directors, advises Google and has his own startup.

The former vice president, who insists he is not running again for the White House in 2008, has close ties to some of the biggest names in the technology industry.
Al Gore's New Book Examines 'The Assault on Reason' Gore explains "why logic and reason and the best evidence available and the scientific discoveries do not have more force in changing the way we all think about the reality we are now facing."

Draft Gore Movement.

I have a dream, re-elect Al Gore.

Al Gore is the Gold Standard.

NYTimes: Al Gore Speaks of a Nation in Danger In “The Assault on Reason”
Al Gore excoriates George W. Bush, asserting that the president is “out of touch with reality,” that his administration is so incompetent that it “can’t manage its own way out of a horse show,” that it ignored “clear warnings” about the terrorist threat before 9/11 and that it has made Americans less safe by “stirring up a hornets’ nest in Iraq,” while using “the language and politics of fear” to try to “drive the public agenda without regard to the evidence, the facts or the public interest.”
He also drives conservatives even crazier.

Update: Does TIME think Gore is the sexy old boyfriend ready to start up again?

That's hysterical.

Bush "ignored 'clear warnings' about the terrorist threat before 9/11 and that it has made Americans less safe by stirring up a 'hornets' nest in Iraq,"while using “the language and politics of fear” to try to “drive the public agenda without regard to the evidence, the facts or the public interest.”

That's rich. Gore is running for liar and hypocrite of the nation. There would have been no "9/11" if Al and his good pal Bubba had been doing their jobs. Osama would have been in prison and al Qaeda would just be another in a long line of failed radical movements.

If your dream-date had been spending his time chasing down the terrorists instead of hustling Chinese temples for illegal funds, and bragging about his great escapades like being reponsible for creating the internet, being the inspiration for "Love Story," and "discovering Love Canal" and telling all the other lies about himself, maybe we wouldn't have had a 9/11, although I doubt it considering the fact that he and Bubba had already had a couple of shots at preventing terrorist from attacking America (remember who was President when the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center happened, and who did nothing about it that would further prevent terrorism.

Of course Al's administration might have given us another "Waco."

If Al Gore had been elected as President (something that never has happened and never will) we would be fighting al Qaeda in our streets by now while he surrounded himself with incompetents like Ms. Gorelick who made certain that information could never pass between domestic and international security departments.

Thank God there will never be a "President Al Gore." He would destroy our economy chasing down his chimerical anthropogenic global warming scam while zipping around the US in his private jet and living in his sumptuous 20,000 sq. ft. mansion consuming more energy than a small village.

He would leave the Third World subject to the ravages of primitive lifestyles and prevent them from elevating their cultures into the 20th, let alone the 21st century.

What a total narcissistic, egomaniacal, angry idiot he is.

Oh yeah, I noticed that you "moderate" your comments. What's the matter, afraid some intelligence might slip in by mistake?

I have a hysterical anti-reason anti-Gore comment I'll let in. He's wrong in so many ways.
