What can we do about the United States torturers?

Probably very little. We went through 6 years of being ruled by FEAR! and the administration was given a free hand and they used it to encourage unAmerican activities.

Robert Nagle has proposed a solution for most of the GITMO prisoners, Gitmo is not even the worst cases of the abuse. The worst cases occurred in secret prisons in Afghanistan and other parts of the world.

I do not think we will see the public apology on the White House lawn, compensation, and possible US citizenship occurring for the over 500 wrongly imprisoned and held for years non-terrorists from GITMO. Just ain't going to happen. The pragmatics in the Obama administration will feel it would use up his political capital on a gesture that would make the howling conservatives scream.
