Terror, Taxes and the Pax Americana

A unilateral US war in Iraq that is not in direct defense of our sovereign borders is against American traditions, in violation of international law, and the surest way to make the world less safe.

No American president has ever attempted to cut taxes while prosecuting a major war. There is probably a pretty good reason that has not happened, but President Bush wants to try it out anyway.
