400,000 Embryos and Counting

The New York Times mentions that a new RAND study shows that there are now 400,000 frozen embryos that have been created primarily by infertile couples seeking children. In view of the fundamentalists problems about when human life begins this creates a sticky situation. :-)

Phillip Roth proposed a solution in the Nixon administration - give them the right to vote with a Republican leader as their guardian. That no longer seems as funny now.
