Clark Throwing down the gauntlet

The Norman (Ok.) Transcript - Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark stormed into Norman Saturday evening, blasted President Bush for “bad leadership,” outlined his own domestic agenda, and called on Oklahomans to lead him into the White House.

The hundreds who crammed inside the University of Oklahoma’s Rupel J. Jones Theater responded with thunderous approval.

“We’ve got a president who will go half way around the world for a photo opportunity,” Clark said in reference to Bush’s appearances at overseas military outposts, “but won’t go across Washington to attend the funeral of a serviceman who died in Iraq.

“None of that is patriotic, it’s just bad leadership,” he added. “Mr. President, shame on you for bad leadership.”

el - all Democrats but Lieberman sound like Dean now. Notice the anti-Kerry reader comments - Kerry aided and abetted the Bush Administration by voting for both the Iraqi war and the Patriot Act - that is WHEN he decided to vote. He was absent from voting 72 percent of the time and, most recently, was not there to help stop the Omnibus Bill which took away workers' rights to overtime pay. What kind of a leader is that?
