AlterNet: Bush Is Not Going to War With Iraq

"I say this because I don't think the Bush administration is insane." The writer believes this has to be an election ploy because Bush isn't that insane.

I believe this was set up as a win-win-win for Republicans. A full-press right-wing media machine blitz is on and it spills over into more moderate media preventing coverage of other issues. Democrats have to scramble to explain they are against Saddam while not being as insane as the President and his supporters. Just by threatening war Saddam is weakened and Bush is sure to get the war the Pax Americana boys want sometime.
