As the press dutifully reports the Republican spin remember the facts about Rove's prognostications. Remember two years ago how they were predicting Bush up by one to four million votes?

Remember how they thought California was 50/50.

They believe that politics is a sport and they play to win. They also believe if they repeat something enough times it comes true. They believe in any case, it keeps their spirits up and demoralizes the opposition.

Remember that the moral of the story is morale. Stay positive! Vote!
