NYTimes -- Democrats' Mixed Message Reflects Tax-Cut Divisions

This is a major mistake for the Democrats. They should oppose those Bush cuts because they don't apply to the middle class. There need to be more studies like the Urban Institute's that show there is no tax cut for a family of four making less than $200,000 a year after the tax cuts are fully implemented and the alternative minimum tax is included. Of course, millionaires get a huge tax cut.

The Bush tax cut is unworkable - it will be scrapped before it is ever fully implemented.
