Warren Buffet Attacks Bush, Tax Cuts, and Greed
UK Times -- Warren Buffett, the billionaire investor regarded as perhaps the most brilliant businessman of the age, came out strongly against President Bush's economic policies over the weekend.
"I've never seen a compensation consultant recommend that a salary be lowered"
"I am not for the Bush tax plans. It screams of injustice. The main beneficiaries would be people like me."
The world's second-richest man said if Mr Bush succeeds in ending taxation of share dividends, "it will result in us [himself and partner Charlie Munger] giving a smaller percentage of our income to Washington than the people who work in our shoe factory. When somebody says 'what did you do in the war grandpa', that is not what I want to admit to."
