Loose Lips or Scissor Cuts - You Decide

Tech Central is a house organ for the neo-cons and James Pinkerton is the latest pundit spreading their word. And what is the latest word? Apparently they are still playing the Dean=McGovern meme and pushing a Hillary for President scenario.

"On Monday, in the midst of the we-got-Saddam euphoria, she knew that this was no time to appear to be anything but gracious. In a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations, she declared herself to be "thrilled" at Saddam's apprehension, adding, 'We owe a debt of gratitude to the troops, to the president.' Those aren't the words of someone who plans to run for president in '04."

See the Dean words which he doesn't quote because it interferes with the story he is trying to spread: "His capture is a testament to the skill and courage of U.S. forces and intelligence personnel. They have risked their lives. Some of their comrades have given their lives." I guess he thinks Dean isn't running for President.

Maureen Farell also has a headline BuzzFlash article that also takes notice that what the neo-cons and conservatives leave out of Dean quotes is more informative than what they leave in.

If a newpaper column or television reporter quotes Dean you've better check what they leave out. His "loose lips" are usually just what remains after their scissor cuts.
