Clark Surging In New Gallup Poll
After just writing about the Dean surge looks like Clark is bouncing up.
el - it was clear the candidates to watch are Dean and Clark and the establishment is panicking over Dean.
Dean still tops the Democratic field in the national survey, at 24%, but the 21-point lead he held over Clark less than a month ago has narrowed to just 4 percentage points, within the poll's margin of error.
el - you have to be careful of Gallup's and USA Today's headlines and careful statements which often show their bias. Their last poll had Dean ahead 27-12. The numbers in 3 weeks have gone Dean down 3 and Clark up 8
The detailed Gallup numbers show a big jump in Democrats holding an unfavorable view of Lieberman now only 41 favorable and 33 unfavorable. The attacks on Dean seem to be driving him down.
