Club For Growth Backers are the Elitists

Natasha tracks down the very rich Club for Growth backers and where they donate.

Nice to have that kind of cash to spend. Must really help them relate to what the mainstream voter wants.

When can we send this government-strangling, bourbon-swilling, Falwell loving, WSJ reading, country club belonging, golf course hobnobbing, cigar smoking, peasant hating, corporate welfare expanding, fraud-winking, economic elite freakshow back to Texas where they belong?

el - it makes a nice contrast to the masses of small doners that Dean attracts to see the rich swells that can afford to run ads saying that Deaners are a latte-drinking, sushi-eating, Volvo-driving, New York Times reading, Hollywood loving, left wing freak show. I'm with Natasha, give me my Volvo, I'm sure they can spare one of theirs.

Atrios adds
- Of course, the amusing thing about the Club for Growth ad is how wrong it is - Vermont is not part of the "elite Northeast" to the extent that it exists, it's a small rural farm state. ...for the record, Vermont has precisely two Starbucks for all those latte drinkers to go to.
