Digby has his Big Winner
Kerry for knowing how to campaign for TV - good sound bites.
He also has a history of the Clinton's first run for the White House and his terrible and many low vote totals. Digby appears to think it is better to have a rushed primary season to avoid that again. I fail to see it.
Clinton won the White House twice - why would you think Jerry Brown or Paul Tsongas or Tom Harkin could even win in 92?
Dem primary voters choose Clinton even after sex scandals popped out because they saw he could win the White House.
That appears to be what primary voters are doing this year, casting their votes for perceived electability, or at least who looks good on TV which may be the same thing.
