Parkland sales another example of sorry Republican government
When you put people in charge of government who don't like government and think it is all about collecting money from businesses, can you really be surprised at the idiocy, incompetence and corruption?
At the last minute Perry stopped one park sale because it was becoming a campaign issue, there are others in the works because they have been underfunding state parks for years. Raising state park fees, providing less service, selling off the parks, privatizing the operations - this is what the Republicans believe in but are afraid to run on.
