President spends more than 40% of time out of the office

Bush's Part-Time Job as President

He has spent all or part of 500 days out of the office while in office. He does recieve briefs and will have meetings at his retreats. Like the French, he has a fondness for four-week holidays.

When he considers himself working hard at it he has an 8:30 to 5:30 schedule with an over 90 minute lunch and exercise break. He is always in bed by 10 PM and up at 6 AM.
