Forgot About The EcoBlog Awards

They screwed up the nominating process, did they take any suggestions or is it all Kevin? No, I am not nominated - people were posting nominations in comments like I did but looks like that didn't count.

Looking at the voting, the worst crap with the most dittohead followers is doing surpringly well for only being allowed to vote twice a day. Maybe not surprising, considering it is a dittohead hangout. In checking out some of the other blogs nominated I was sickened by more than one prejudiced unfunny high school student. I also saw that the League of Liberals accuses The Truth Laid Bear, who manages the blog ecosystem stats, of not playing fair. The more you look at it, nearly the whole ecosystem is a FReeper playpen.

I should retreat to things like Off the Kuff for some serious smart postings on Texas politics. Or maybe over to Mahablog - a Buddhist who votes.

I should link to it so CalPundit or Atrios or Josh or even Boing Boing gets some votes. But again, looking at the vote distribution why bother. The League of Liberals was trying to bring some balance to this whole system and has been slapped around although their nominees for best new blog may still come in high in the weekly spotlight.
