Zell Miller grows more like Maddox every day, so does Orson Scott Card
"You cannot lead with a finger to the wind and an ear to the ground. It is an undignified position." Only now, as you teeter with your hindquarters in the air, do I fully understand how right you were.
Of course, this makes Miller Orson Scott Card's role model.
Atrios noted Card's lock'em up views on gays after rightwing gay blogger Andrew Sullivan picked up a quote of Card's on protestors as traitors.
I was more shocked when O. S. Card wrote:
Fortunately, the American electorate has a history of slapping down whichever party commits itself to extremism.
But how often before have the national media been so totally committed to advancing the cause of the most extremist wing of one of the parties?
and was refering to Democrats, not the Bush neo-cons! Has anyone checked the author of Ender's Game for dementia yet?
