Matchbox Twenty Star Denies Gay Sex With Tom Cruise

Internet blog sites have been posting an allegedly false e-mail that 33-year-old Rob Thomas slept with Tom shortly before the actor started dating his fiancée, Katie Holmes, in May.

The message also suggested their supposed gay tryst was the real reason behind the whirlwind pace at which Tom, 43, conducted his public courtship of the Dawson's Creek star. It said Rob's wife Marisol "found her husband in bed with Tom Cruise, causing Cruise's people to shift into high gear."
