No Bush Democrats - Democrats most united in last 50 years

Among Democrats Bush approval 12%, GOP COngress approval 3%
Bush has guaranteed that Democrats will remain pretty much permanently united in opposition to him. However, as recent events have shown, there is no guarantee that Republicans will remain united in support of Bush. Throw in his wide-ranging problems with independents, and it becomes clear that a polarization strategy only guarantees opposition, but does not guarantee support. Without any Bush Democrats except Zell Miller, the only thing that Bush has guaranteed for the remainder of his Presidency is that at least 35% of the country will strongly disapprove of his performance.
