Webstats4u.com aka Netstatbasic cause of Spam Pop-Up Ads

This site didn't produce accurate counts but does send ads if you use their counter.

This was the first counter I had but it did not sneak the pop up ad onto my site until recently. I had added other counters because I found it significantly undercounted visitors. I started with that counter on September 13th 2002 and it now has a total of 115,288 page views as I remove it. By contrast eXTReMe Tracking started a month later has 166,398 unique visitors or 184,776 visits including reloads. Webstats4u also recounts the same visitor unlike many other counters.

So, fair warning, NOT ACCURATE, and the new owners are SPAMMING your site with ads.
