Only 10% of voters are truly independent


I find interesting this moderate-conservative analysis shows Kerry should have won the last election yet this is not mentioned.

Democrats had finally become about as likely to vote as Republicans and Kerry carried the middle so how did Bush win? This question is avoided in this analysis of the myth of the Independent voters.

I also feel he draws the wrong conclusions about the disappointment of Democratic voters with the Democratic party compared to the overall satisfaction of Republican voters with their party. It is not a question of 'branding' but a question of feckless leadership.
