Government by the ignorant, for the angry and by the hateful

I seem to be discouraged about this country again. You can read some reasons here - especially for the comments.

How stupid can voters be? I think the answer is they re-elected Bush and fell for the Swift Boat Liars. Try turning on to talk radio in Houston or almost anywhere in Texas. How much is the hateful lies a symptom and how much a cause?
