ARMPAC shut down and fined. This would open the way for civil suits but they may be more difficult with it shut down. Any Democratic candidates could file suit against the principal officers of the PAC, however. This is about what occurred to DeLay's Texas TRMPAC. Americans for a Republican Majority Pac was DeLay extorting funds from contributors, for legislation or consideration, and distributing it to GOP candidates around the country. Nearly every Republican in Congress received money from ARMPAC. This should be a huge deal - let's see what the SCLM does with it.
