Are Bush & Cheney Planning Early Attack on Iran?
With finally getting UN sanctions and open acknowledgement of their increasing deployment of military forces facing Iran, Bush-Cheney war plans continue.
Iran has denounced UN sanctions imposed on its nuclear programme, and has accused the Security Council of double standards for ignoring Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's recent admission of its nuclear capabilities. Ehud Olmert had said Iran must be stopped as it is within months of developing nuclear weapons capability last May. Iran is actually closer to 10 years away from being able to make a nuclear weapon. "We will not tolerate the possession of nuclear weapons by Iran," Olmert told NBC television's "Today Show" program. Iran accused the U.N. Security Council on Saturday of pursuing a double standard in imposing sanctions on what it said was Tehran's peaceful nuclear program while ignoring Israel's 200 bomb strong nuclear arsenal.
Experts agree: No good military options for Iran.
