National Review regards year-old email spam as news

Over a year ago there was an email circulating about the "good news" from Iraq that was some seriously off GOP propaganda mixed in with some observations about guns and weapons. Someone at NRO today, Cliff May, thought it was current news, not from November 2005, that the damn liberal media wasn't reporting.

You don't have to be an idiot to be a conservative, just to get a column or be paid as a pundit.

Cliff May who posted the old email was also named the National Reviews best prognosticator from last year with a claimed score of 83% correct. I believe he could be their least bad forecaster but that their scorer can't count. I have my count of May's predictions: 11 correct but some obvious, 4 partial credit and 6 incorrect - several of these could be disputed.
