Bayh Out, Edwards In, Thompson In

It's Official: Long-shot moderate candidate U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind. has decided not to run for President. Everyone is now wondering what he will do with his over $10 million war chest.

Officials say Democrat Edwards to enter 2008 presidential race - I have picked him as the best candidate.
Edwards, who represented North Carolina in the Senate for six years, plans to make the campaign announcement late this month from the New Orleans neighborhood hit hardest by Hurricane Katrina last year and slow to recover from the storm.
If you went based on sales of name gear - Al Gore and Obama are leading the Democratic pack.

On the GOP side, former Wisconsin governor Tommy Thompson is in. Other possible Republican candidates include Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich of Georgia to join the all-but-official Sen. McCain and former New York Mayor Giuliani front-runners.
