Obama's Campaign Takes In $25 Million

Beats Hillary in primary donations, has twice as many donors. Hillary still leads the overall money race. The biggest news is that Democrats swamped Republican presidential candidates in fund raising. I believe that is the first time that ever happened. Right now the Democratic raise has narrowed to four - Clinton, Obama, Edwards and Richardson. I don't think the GOP race has narrowed as more candidates are getting in.

From Politico, the DC Drudge Report: “The energy and enthusiasm is on the Democrats’ side, because they’ve just won and they are hungry to win the White House. Our side just lost and we don’t have a candidate that has ignited our troops,” the Republican insider said.

“At this point, that’s another disadvantage we’ve got – and we already have a number of disadvantages.”
