Billmon expands on Israel's foremost military historian explanation of why "nothing will work" here and here. The only thing Billmon doesn't see is that the Bush administration has already decided on attacking Iran and is only working out the timing.

I don't see it often noted that a leading factor in becoming a suicide bomber is having a friend or relative killed by some state or institution you feel is unjust and oppressive.
