DeLay now attacking fellow Republicans

Warning, vicious dog. DeLay has to win big to convince the GOP he's still got it.

His attack on Campbell is pure spin - Campbell is as Republican as they come.

The attack on the other opponent for not agreeing with the Texas GOP Party platform? Many in the GOP have no respect for Texas GOP Party platform. In 2000 and 2004 it calls for abolishing the IRS, a return to the gold standard, abolishing the EPA (and many other federal agencies and departments), withdrawing from the UN, replacing government programs with federally funded religious social programs, eliminating HeadStart, preventing children from being removed from abusive homes, selling all government owned land, the recognition of the supremacy of Judeo-Christian principles, and even withholding permission for the Supreme Court to rule on the constitutionality of laws.

After this primary he has a tough November election. His toughest GOP opponent, Stockman, is running as an Independent and will face him along with the very strong Democratic candidate Lampson, a Libertarian runoff winner, and another Independent.
