Neocon architect says: 'Pull it down,' Libertarian proposes universal $10,000 government grants

Is the worst President and the worst war in decades causing major theoretical policy shifts on the right?

In an extract from his forthcoming book, America at the Crossroads, noted neocon Mr. Fukuyama declares that the doctrine "is now in shambles" and that its failure has demonstrated "the danger of good intentions carried to extremes".

In another book coming soon shaking the foundations of conservative thought a conservative libertarian is proposing universal $10,000 annual grants to everyone along with universal insurance coverage. In Our Hands by Charles Murray. A description of an interesting academic encounter with Dr. Murray. Both books from Amazon next month.

To put it mildly I do not think highly of the past work of both men but interesting to see this new direction here.
