For those of us with the Dean campaign, or with the Morrison campaign, and with the Houston Democratic Party, a sad word of why we haven't heard much from Melissa Taylor. After moving with her fiance to San Antonio, she realized there was something wrong with her body. She was sick and she finally figured out she had Cushing's disease. She now has a blog about her struggle with the disease.
In looking at the list of symptoms, it seems obvious that for her last few years my mother had undiagnosed Cushing's disease.
Best wishes for the warm-hearted bundle of energy Melissa Taylor Slovacek. She is now expecting and will have an operation next year for the tumor or tumors causing the Cushing's disease.
