Judge rules that Congress's rushed appointment of Bilbray cannot be challenged

After the disputed election in California, Congress seated Republican Brian Bilbray before his election was certified. A judge has now ruled that this certification cannot be challenged and the votes recounted because of this Congressional action. Once Congress seats a member only they can remove him. If you look at history this is a bad decision. Court cases and recounts should go forward and then the results forwarded to Congress.

In other election news, Ohio will shortly destroy all of the 2004 ballots despite protests. The 2004 votes in Ohio remain a subject of controversy with allegations of fraud.
