The war in Utah
The GOP is afraid that even the reddest state in the Union is slipping away and is waging a PR campaign against the anti-Bush Salt Lake City mayor. Mayor Rocky Anderson said he would speak at a protest against Bush's visit and invite Cindy Sheehan. The state GOP is running robo-calling and advertisements to urge phone calls to city hall and stir up opposition. There is the standard despicable claims by the Republicans that he is abetting terrorists.
