Police property: It’s finders keepers in NH

In yet another ludicrious court decision, this time by the New Hampshire Supreme Court, the police were allowed to keep and destroy 500 CD's after failing to prove they were illegal.

There is now a presumption of guilty for the police to keep property and a court declaration of innocence does not change that. At least that is my interpretation of this and other poorly written majority opinions.
